Vietnam has emerged as a promising destination for expatriates seeking job opportunities, and the 1-year working E-visa is the key to unpacking this treasure that is filled with employment potential. To explore how to use this for yourself, refer to our article to grasp some crucial information to pave your career in Vietnam.
In Vietnam, the 1-year working E-visa is a type of work permit that provides legitimate authorization for global citizens to temporarily reside and work in the country. As its name is E-visa (short for electronic visa), all procedures, from submitting to obtaining the outcome, will be entirely conducted online via digital portals or websites of the competent authority.
Once you have successfully satisfied and been deemed qualified, you will receive a stay duration of up to 1 year from the date of application release.
According to Law No. 51/2019/QH14, the 1-year working E-visa to Vietnam will remain from 2023 onward with two primary types, consisting of a single entry visa and a multiple entry visa.
The single-entry 1-year working E-visa allows a foreign national to enter Vietnam once during the specific period mentioned in the visa and is not allowed to re-enter once left. This type is suited for individuals engaged in a single work assignment or project that does not require re-visiting and departing from Vietnam.
On the contrary, the multiple entry 1-year working E-visa enables a foreign national to enter and exit Vietnam for an unlimited amount of time during the visa validity period. This type is suited for professionals engaged in ongoing projects, frequent business meetings, or those with work-related responsibilities requiring long-term processing.
Owners of the 1-year working e-visa are the most advantageous people, as they will reap a myriad of unique benefits that none of the other types of visas in Vietnam can offer. If you're curious about the incredible opportunities that await you with this visa in hand, keep reading to discover how it can truly elevate your career.
Convenience: One of the greatest advantages of a 1-year working e-visa has been the streamline of the application process. You can enjoy the convenience of applying from anywhere in the world at any time frame as you please, bypassing the need to visit a Vietnamese embassy or consulate in person.
Cost-effective: Having an affordable application fee is also a light point to be considered. The charge of a 1-year working e-visa is not pricey compared to other traditional types of visas. Also, it cuts out the need for additional expenses such as transportation to the embassy or consulate, which significantly dwindles the total fee you have to pay.
Wide acceptance: A range of means in terms of checkpoints are available for foreign nationals to choose from, including airports, land border crossings, and seaports. This allows applicants to enter by their preferred point of entry conveniently.
Time-saving: The application process for the 1-year working e-visa is generally faster when compared to the applications of other traditional visas. The outcome of the application is usually released within a few business days to avoid long queues and waiting times.
Easy-tracking: The digital system of the visa has developed features so that all applicants can track the status of their applications in real time, providing transparency and peace of mind. This feature helps individuals stay informed about the progress of their application, reducing anxiety associated with visa processing.
