WHAT TO BRING BESIDES A 5-YEAR WORKING E-VISA?

In a dynamic era of global connectivity and seamless travel experiences, Vietnam has emerged as a beacon of progress by introducing a groundbreaking initiative - the 5-year working E-visa. This innovative visa program not only streamlines the entry process but also offers an extended stay duration, catering to the needs of travelers, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads alike.

WHAT IS THE 5-YEAR WORKING E-VISA?

The 5-year working E-visa is the largest opportunity for long-term duration, offering global individuals with any purpose to work in Vietnam the longest residence permission ever provided. This prestigious permit not only allows one to partake in conventional meetings, conferences, or business-related activities but also explores the vast array of job opportunities in the labor market.

The name of this permit, E-visa, is a short form of electronic visa in which all steps are made totally on the Internet as per the instructions of the responsible authority. In comparison to other types of traditional visas, the 5-year working visa appended with electronic features is the best solution for those seeking the simplest method to enter the country.

WHAT THE 5-YEAR WORKING E-VISA OFFER?

Beloved holders of a 5-year working E-visa are now offered a wide array of privileges that none of the other physical visas can provide, making it the most unique type necessitated for your working. For those seeking a long-term duty job that requires them to reside in Vietnam for an extensive period of time, this material is way more crucial and essentially a must-have.

  • Convenience and flexibility: The streamlined application process is considered one of the key benefits of a 5-year working E-visa, offering unparalleled convenience. This allows applicants to submit their applications from any location across the globe, at their own preferred time, eliminating the necessity of physically visiting a Vietnamese embassy or consulate. Such a hassle-free approach not only saves valuable time and effort but is also advantageous for travelers residing in regions where Vietnamese diplomatic representation is absent.

  • Cost-effective: Another important aspect to take into account is the affordability of the application fee. When compared to other conventional visa options, the cost of a 5-year working E-visa is relatively low. Furthermore, this type of visa eliminates the necessity of incurring additional expenses like transportation to the embassy or consulate, thereby reducing the overall fee that needs to be paid.

  • Wide acceptance: Foreign nationals have a variety of options when it comes to choosing their point of entry into a country. They can select from a range of entry gates, such as airports, land border crossings, and seaports. This flexibility enables applicants to conveniently enter the country through their preferred mode of transportation.

  • Time-saving: The processing time for the 5-year working E-visa is typically shorter in comparison to the application procedures for other conventional visas. The decision on the application is usually communicated within a few working days to minimize the inconvenience of lengthy queues and waiting periods.

  • Easy-tracking: The online system designed for the 5-year working E-visa should not be overlooked as it has incorporated advanced functionalities to enable all applicants to monitor the progress of their applications in real time. Thanks to this, every individual can stay up to date on the status of their application and satisfy the impatient while waiting for approval.

  • Safe and secure application: Coupled with the system of the 5-year working E-visa, applicants can be at peace with the security of the application site. The governing bodies have incorporated a line-up of highly professional computer engineers to store and save the personal information of applicants in a safe place.

What you will receive from a 5-year working E-visa

WHY YOU MUST HAVE A 5-YEAR WORKING E-VISA?

Besides its wide range of beneficial offers, the utmost reason that makes the 5-year working E-visa a “must-have" document to possess in hand is its multiple entry features. This means that, while the previous E-visa only allowed visitors to enter Vietnam once and required a re-application once left, individuals in possession of an E-visa are presently given the opposite.

The holders of a 5-year working E-visa from 2023 onward will receive an exemption for a fresh application when re-entering if the validity remains in effect until the forthcoming entries. By using this feature, all applicants have unlimited time to enter and exit Vietnam, thereby bypassing burdensome applications and creating absolutely favourable conditions for all to work in the country.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE 5-YEAR WORKING E-VISA?

Even the hospitality of Vietnam still has specific sets of requirements that applicants must meet to qualify for the 5-year working E-visa, irrespective of nationality. The following list will outline everything to be followed.

WHAT TO BRING BESIDES A 5-YEAR WORKING E-VISA?

When preparing for your entry into Vietnam with a 5-year working E-visa, it is essential to consider additional items and necessities that will ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience during your stay in the country. Here are all the recommended materials you should bring along with you.

  • Confirm of approval: Upon arrival at any of the checkpoints as mentioned above, it is necessary to present the approval confirmation indicating that you have been granted permission to obtain a 5-year working E-visa to the immigration authority. As a helpful suggestion, it is advisable to keep a printed copy of your visa in case electronic records become inaccessible.

  • Passport: Even though a 5-year working E-visa is the prerequisite document to be prepared, a passport is also indispensable to verify your identity and personal information. It would be best practice if your passport remained valid for at least six months before your planned departure date.

  • Work-related documents: Carry both physical and digital copies of work-related documents, such as your employment contract, a letter of invitation from your employer, and any other documents required for your specific job. This will further substantiate the genuine purpose of your visit, which is for work-related activities.

  • Local currency: Bring some Vietnamese dong (VND) for initial expenses, as well as a local credit card for larger transactions if you intend to purchase something expensive. Notify your bank about your travel plans to avoid any issues with card usage.

  • Language translation app: To facilitate communication, particularly if you are not fluent in Vietnamese, it is recommended to download a language translation app or carry a phrasebook with you. This will assist you in overcoming any difficulties during the entry process into the country.

  • Accommodation arrangement: Ensure that you have documentation or information showing where you will be staying during your time in Vietnam, such as a lease agreement or an official confirmation from your employer. This might be asked to be presented before the authority to check if your temporary residence is suitable.

  • Contact information: Note in advance the contact details of your employer, colleagues, or any local contacts who can assist you in case of emergencies or for general support.
